INTRODUCTION —
Momotarō is a multi-media project for wind ensemble and animation created by rising artists Tyler Ono (composer) and Jewel Racasa (animator).

PROJECT DETAILS —
The final score will be delivered on August 1st, 2023. Join and support the Momotarō Project now to receive early drafts, updated drafts, and the completed project.
Supporters will receive sheet music files, video files, and instructions for the animation. Supporters will receive all of these materials via Google Drive with purchase.

INSTRUMENTATION —
Piccolo, Three Flutes (third doubling piccolo), Oboe, E-flat Clarinet, 3x B-flat Clarinets, Bass Clarinet, 2x Bassoons, 4x Saxophones (SATB), 4x F Horns, 3x B-flat Trumpets, 3x Trombones (2x tenor, 1x bass), Euphonium, Tuba, Harp (can be replaced with midi harp or piano), Timpani, 3x Percussion
MEET THE CREATORS
Our goal is to retell this famous story through a Hawai’i-born collaboration with band music and animation.
Band directors are invited to program this adventurous work of art at their next concert.
